PA Trip 2012

We were so excited to go to Pennsylvania for our last little breath of summer. Here are some picture of the fun things we did. It was so good to see Jeremy's family and spend so much time with them. They make us happy :)

Dutch Wonderland is a little children's amusement park where Jeremy use to work when he was a teenager. Two of Jeremy's sisters work there now, so we were able to get free tickets to take the kids. It was such a fun day!!!
 Entering the park
Waiting in line for our first ride
At the dive show, one of the coolest things. We went to both shows because we loved it so much.
Amish family, amish paradise.... Jer makes a very realistic woman.
Rachel helping us load on the ride :)

Jeremy had a man day with his dad going and seeing tanks and planes and cool stuff. He had such a fun time with his Dad.
A gun shooting thing (obviously Jeremy should be writing about this)
Big tanks and men

We went with Rachel and Peter to the Delaware beach one day. It took a long time to get there, but was so worth it. It was a perfect day with fun waves, bright sunshine, and wonderful company. We liked trying to body surf and letting our feet sink in the ocean. Rachel, Peter, and I also did a special musical number for church, Pie Jesu. We threw it together quick, but I think it turned out nicely. They are such a fun couple and we had a great time being with them.

 My hero
 Love the ocean :)
Cool bridge, beautiful day.

We also loved doing this just around the house with everyone. We played our new game, "Bang" more times than I can count, with "chug chug chugs" and "general store" songs.

We loved going the the rec center to swim and play a new found game of pickle- ball. It was especially fun the day we went with Jeremy's parents. So fun to swim and play together.
One night we had a pizza night. Loralie and I got so darn frustrated with that dough, and after me losing all hope, she still stuck to it and figured it out! We finally had pizza! Man, intense night. We sure love Loralie.

Another moment we loved on our trip was taking Jonathan and Kathryn to the movies. Jeremy really wanted to see the new "Bourne" movie and I was not thrilled with the idea. So I decided to take Kathryn to "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" while he took Jonathan to "Bourne Legacy". I laughed so hard in my movie and had such a fun time being with Kathryn. She is a darling 8 year old. Jonathan is the bomb dot com as well. Cute kids.

We love Pennsylvania! We shall miss you but shall see you someday again!

Happy Amish Days!

Love,
The Bowes
