Before Christmas

Jeremy and I left at 2am to head to our Christmas in Anaheim Hills. We decided to stop in Vegas to see some of the people Jeremy served on his mission and to go to one of the wards he served in. Everyone spoke spanish, so I had to wear headphones for all of sacrament, where the talks were translated in my ears. Dang, the church has cool technology! Everyone kept going on about what an amazing missionary and man Jer was. They couldn't stop telling me wonderful things about him. Gosh, I am lucky.

After church we had lunch with a darling family! They were so kind and we had a wonderful time spending time with them.

My darling cousin got married in the Los Angeles temple. Jeremy and I got to be there and it was beautiful. It was wonderful being with family. They seem so happy and in love :) The wedding turned out darling!

A couple days later we drove down to snatch Grandma Gail up for Christmas. While there, we visted the Griffith Park Observatory. Very cool.

More later :)

Happy Travels!

Ice Cream

We have a problem...

We love LOVE ice cream cones. We usually hit up Mcdonalds or Burger King, but when we heard about Macy's King Kong Cone, we knew it was time to go take a trip.

See for yourself:

Christmas Program

I epically failed at getting good photos at the Parrott Program this year. But I did manage a few, and boy were they gems!

This is the first year Jeremy was in the Parrott Program. Did they make hims sing? Why yes.... and not just sing, but a solo! He did so wonderful! I was very proud. I really do have the most terrific husband in the world. He is such a good sport and such a great supporter in the things I love.

One part of the show involved dancing up like grannys. Jeremy succeeded at becoming the most unattractive old woman in the gang.

We had a fun time in this adventure.

Happy Dancing like an Old Woman to Celebrate the Holidays!

Neighbors

We have the greatest neighbors. We decided to have our own mini Thanksgiving before the actual holiday hit. It was so tasty! We played games and enjoyed a wonderful meal. This stage in life is so fun! We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends!

Happy Pre-Thanksgiving!

Latest

I had a bomb voice recital...

Not because of me, but because of my amazing students. They did so great!!!! And my amazing husband! He is the best supporter ever!

Can you believe how many students I have now? Gosh I love every single one of them. Moments I loved from the recital....

1. My cute husband dressed in all black and a purple tie (gosh, I wish I got a pic)

2. The fact that it was a voice recital and their speaker system was broken. I had to come up with the idea of grabbing an amp, and Jeremy was the only one that could figure out how to get it to work. Great set up, recital hall.

3. Listening to my students do such a wonderful job. I loved when they would look at me for support of some forgotten words.

4. The smiles, laughs, applause, and being around such spectacular people.

I am so blessed. Seriously, I couldn't ask for a better job, experiences, or students :)

Meanwhile, back at the crib....

Finals week is creeping up. Here we go!!!! Oh wait, here Jer goes cuz.... I'M DONE!!!!!

Happy Studying for Finals and Singing!
