Jane Eyre

I had the beautiful privilege of playing Sophie in Jay Richards premier of "Jane Eyre". It was an amazing opportunity with so many wonderful people. It is one of my favorite roles I have ever played. Jeremy was so sweet in supporting me in it and coming 3 times.

I love my husband and all his words of encouragement and support with me pursuing things I love.

Happy Performing!

Elements

Jeremy surprised me with a fun date. He told me to get dressed up and put a blind fold around me. When I took off the blindfold, we were at Elements, a beautiful restaurant in Logan. It was so cute of him.

We got some yummy food and loved just being together after a busy week and weekend.

Happy Element Trips :)

The Disappearing Watch

This Valentines Day was very busy. Between classes starting at 7:30 am and a Jane Eyre performance until 11pm, there wasn't much time to celebrate, but we did what we could.

In November I had this great idea to fix Jeremy's watch for Christmas. The inside with the numbers had come unglued and turned around a little bit. The glass was also very scratched. So I took it without telling him, planning on getting it fixed for Christmas but didn't get around to it. I decided it would be the perfect present for Valentines day.

Jeremy kept asking me if I had seen his watch and I would respond, "Babe, thats a really nice watch. You need to be more careful!" Hahahaha! How mean am I! There were several times he lifted up the bed or couch looking for it. He thought he had lost his favorite watch...

He was so surprised and happy when I gave it to him. And it looks sooooooo good!

Jeremy got me some beautiful flowers, wrote a poem that made me cry, and got me some delicious Hershey chocolates. What I love about Jeremy is that he treats me like it is Valentines day every day. I just got such a great guy.

Happy Valentines Day!

Jazz Game

We had a huge training meeting down in SLC for Vantage, the summer sales company we are working for. After the meeting, they took us all the the Utah Jazz game. It was so much fun!

And yes, we did win :)

Happy Jazz Games!

Swiss Chocolate

I had to work the 11 to 2am shift one Monday night. While driving home, I saw a girl walking down a huge hill struggling with 3 suitcases. I thought, "well that stinks", and kept driving. (shame on me. shame on tired me)

I kept having that feeling to turn around and go help her. After the prodding again and again, even though I was almost home, I turned around and found her. I stopped and asked if she'd like a ride. My biggest worry is she would think, "Man, who is this creeper at 2:00 am asking me for a ride." But instead she responded, "Yes, I would love one! I am so glad you came, you are seriously an answer to my prayers. My friend was suppose to get me but my phone died and I am having such a rough time." I later learned that she was from Switzerland and had just come back from visiting her family there.

While I helped her carry her bags up to her apartment she told me she wanted to give me something to thank me. She pulled out 3 massive swiss chocolate bars and continued to thank me and tell me how I was an angel.

I know I was prompted by the spirit to help her, and that this oppurtunity was an answer to my prayers because I had been praying for oppurtunities to respond to the spirit and help others.

I am so grateful for the gospel, the still small voice, and moments to serve that make you smile :)

Happy Day!
