Practicum Finale

I finished my math practicum!

So happy to be done, but so grateful for the amazing experience, students, and supporting teacher. Now just student teaching and I am a legit teacher! Ahhhhhh!

I love when Jeremy comes home from work. He looks so great in his all black and a big smile on his face.

I went there with a friend to get some sushi a few nights ago and it was divine. If you haven't been there, I highly suggest it. Here is one of the ridiculously delicious rolls I partook of.

Easter Birthday

Okay, I have a sugar problem...

But good news, I figured out why I am addicted to sugar... I am related to the Easter Bunny. From watching "Hop", I am sure of this fact. Plus, my birthday is right around Easter. That is when those wondrous treats such as

-cadbury eggs

-resees eggs

-jelly beans

-cream filled easter eggs

-sugar easter cookies

come around. Do I love them? Yes, I do. Did I eat them? Why, yes I did. Did I get sick? you bet.

It didn't help that the day after was my birthday and everyone knows my chocolate chip cookie problem. Jeremy made me a chocolate chip cookie cake, Taneesa dropped off a dozen chocolate chip cookies, and our neighbors made me a plate of chocolate chip cookies. Feeling sick yet?

Jer also made me a delicious breakfast of pancakes with sugared pears and strawberries. He bought my favorite syrup, boysenberry on top. Scrumptious. So. Much. Sugar.

And AppleBee's, where I went for my birthday lunch, gave me free icecream! Can you believe the treats!!!

I ate carrotts yesterday. It was the only thing that sounded good...

Anyways, my birthday was wonderful. I will admit that I cried from feeling so loved; the cards, the flowers, the phone calls, the text messages. I just have amazing people in my life. I feel very blessed.

General Conference

What a beautiful weekend we had :)

Jeremy's dad gave us tickets for the Sunday afternoon session of conference. Jeremy had never been to the conference center before, so we were so excited to be in that enormous room with men of God :)

We drove up Saturday night and stayed with our best friends and neighbors families, enjoyed a big breakfast with them, then headed out to conference in SLC.

The previous day I had gone for a run, and became very red from a vicious sun burn. I figured it would be as warm in SLC, but no! It was snowing/raining as we walked to the building from our far away parking spot! Jer gave me his coat though, which helped keep warm. And was the extremly cold walk worth it?? Of course! Any day!

You know when President Monson pointed around the room, blessing all the people at the end of conference? Yep, that was us. :)
