Thanksgiving 2011
It was so nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving together. My step brother passed away a week before Thanksgiving and it hit us all pretty hard. So I flew out to California a week earlier then planned to be with my family. Jer flew to arizona on Thursday to be another support at the funeral. The services were beautful and humbling. He was a guy that touched a lot of peoples lives and made an impact on a lot of family and friends. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. I was once again, so grateful for the gospel in my life and the knowledge we have that this is not the end. We will all see Spenc again. It was an honor to be able to sing at the funeral "I know the my reedemer lives" and spend time with the amazing webster family. And also to have my sweetheart by my side.
When we headed back to Anaheim, we tried to keep busy to keep our minds off things. We ate lots of yummy food. I made a huge sandwich for Jer, that he decorated to look like the creature it was. It made me laugh.
My mom has wanted the house painted for a long time now, and since we had a whole week, Jer and I decided to paint the house for a little extra cash. We had no idea what a big job it was! But we had a blast painting together and I was once again blown away by Jeremys handy man skills! So attractive! He was even very brave on the high high ceilings and walls. What an impressive kid!

After the long days of painting, it was really nice to relax in the hot tub together :)
I like this one cuz you can see my beautiful ring ;)
On Saturday, my parents threw us a beautiful, quaint, reception party. It was the perfect day and just a wonderful ocassion to introduce Jeremy to so many people I loved.
Jer doing some yard work before the party :)
The beautiful backyard
Love Love Love, look at those dimples :)
awwww, parents. sure love them
My darling Aunt Sue and cousin Jess did all the food. It looked absolutely beautiful. They were so kind to do that for us.
The night before I flew out, we went on a little bowling date :) It was a lot of fun and I must admit, we are pretty good bowlers, getting a strike here and a strike there.
Oh man, so ready for this... forever and always with this guy will be the best.

Reason #1 I love Jeremy
I love the random cheesy poem texts I get from him. Here is one I got from him this morning before he left on his second flight of three that day. His flight left LAX at 11:55 pm on Monday, so he flew all through the night. He is such a tough guy, and I so appreciate him going through these nasty flights to visit my family and I. I think he might have been a little tired and jet lagged when he wrote this, but none the less made me smile uncontrollably.
awwwwww... right? Thats gotta make you smile. Sure love this boy.

I am on the plane,
Tired but thoughts of you keep me sane.
I cannot wait to fly with you,
Way up in the sky so blue.
All I think of when I am up there soarin'
Is how much I love you Lauren.

Jeremy comes to Utah
I was so happy to have Jeremy come visit me in Logan for a few days. His aunt was getting married down in South Jordan, so his mom and his sister flew out with him to the wedding. He came up Sunday night with me and we spent a day in Logan. It was so fun to be where we will be living together in a little over a month. I am so excited!!!
Friday: Wedding
-It was so fun dancing together at the wedding and thinking about how soon ours was. It was so good to be his date :) The eclairs were delicious and we ate far too many!
Saturday: Temple and swing dancing
-We went to the Provo temple to do baptisms in the morning. It was so wonderful. That temple is beautiful and it was magnificent to see how many students are keeping the temple busy with work. We saw two of our good friends, Thadeus and Amber from Pennsylvania. I haven't seen them in over 3 years. It was so fun to all be together in the temple and sit and ponder. Such a beautiful place.
That night we went swing dancing at some place in Provo. Jeremy has some great moves, but that is something we would really like to get better at. It was a lot of fun swinging around on the dance floor. He is definitely my favorite to dance with.
Sunday: Dinner at Grams
-Grandma Hyra has been my family while I have been at USU these past 2 years. I was so excited to take Jeremy to meet this wonderful woman. We had a great time there, talking with everyone, eating yummy food, and playing bang. We ate even more eclairs from the wedding. Goodness they were good :)
Monday: Pizza Pie Cafe, Nintendo, Movie
-We took G-ma Hyra and Lamar on a yummy lunch trip to Pizza Pie Cafe. We had such a wonderful time talking with this couple and hearing about how they came to be. They gave us great advice, while we ate some delicious pizza. That night Jer and I kicked back playing Nintendo and watching a movie. Finally, I got to have the guy over to my aparment that I've wanted for 2 years!!! It was great being around my roommates with him. Gosh, I love him.
Tusday: Drop off at Airport
-Its always sad saying goodbye, but its so great to know that we soon will have eternity together. I am so blessed, so happy and so in love. Another amazing weekend with the man of my dreams... and I get him!!!

I love...
The way you make me laugh when its hard even to smile...
The love you show me every single day, even when we are thousands of miles apart...
The kisses and hugs you frequently give and the way you look at me...
The moments where we get to just "be", everything is more beautiful with you around...
How strong you are and the crazy moments we have...
The way you hold me and let me know everything is going to be alright...
That I get to marry you in less than 2 months. I feel like the luckiest girl ever :)

Fall Break in Anaheim
Utah State gives 2 days off for a Fall Break. We took advantage of that time to fly out to Anaheim and visit my family. It was such a wonderful trip. Jeremy did get stuck in the airport for a while longer due to a canceled flight, but we both made it safely :)
On Thursday...
*We spent time with my sweet Grandma Gail. She is just darling. We looked at pictures of her when she was was younger and heard all about her wedding.
*We took engagement photos in downtown LA. I'm so lucky to have such a talented mom to take pictures. We got some funny ones and just laughed a whole bunch. I sure love being with this boy, even taking pictures is a complete blast.
*Registered at Target for gifts :) Did we register for an x-box kinect? Why yes... yes we did...
(Definitely some more of these pictures to come :))
On Friday...
*We went to Disneyland! So much fun! Really, the happiest place on Earth with my favorite person on Earth? I don't think it gets much better than that.
On Saturday...
*We went for a lovely bike ride on the beach with my parents. It was actually pretty overcast, but still so pretty and wonderful. We got some icecream and walked on the pier. We sure love riding bikes :)
On Sunday...
*We went to church with the family, had a delicious dinner, my dad made his chocolate chip cookies (yes, I ate far too many), and we played hearts. Jeremy ruled the game, whats new, and we all had a great time.
I love Anaheim. It was hard to say goodbye. But we will be back soon :)
